The Roxbury Arts Alliance would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all who attended the 7th Annual Roxbury Beach Blast and Fireworks on Thursday, June 26th. As a result of the incredible turnout, the Arts Alliance was able to fund our Annual Roxbury High School Scholarship (awarded to graduating seniors who are pursuing secondary education in the arts) and our newly established “Community” Award (awarded to students who not only help to promote the arts in our community, but also regularly volunteer their time to help our organization), as well as make donations to the following town organizations: Roxbury Recreation Department, Roxbury Rotary, Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department, Roxbury Volunteer First Aid/EMT, Roxbury Police Department Fundraiser.
The Beach Blast has always been about raising funds to help give back to the Roxbury community and we are proud to say that this year we were able to give back more money than in any of our past years.
The Roxbury Arts Alliance would also like to thank the following Fireworks Sponsors who, again, outdid themselves in helping to provide an unbelievable show: Alford Financial Group, Comprehensive Group/Smith Family, Fullertons Ground Maintenance, Legends Car Wash, PJ’s Auto Body, and Valley Pharmacy & Surgical Supply. We urge residents to visit these sponsors should they be in need of any of their services as they truly care and give back to our community.
